Through extensive research into the topic of climate change, I noticed a distinct lack of education being given to Canadian Students. In Canada, it is the province’s responsibility to decide what students learn in regards to climate, weather, and the effects of climate change on our earth. Unfortunately, across the board, in every province, students are either being provided not even the basics, or extremely nonfactual information.

Inspired by this extreme lack in our schooling system, EcoSystem Online was created to provide up-to-date climate information to youth, using a voice and tone appealing to young activists. Using hot pink as the main interface colour, the mobile app stands out and quite literally shines a light on the younger generation by meeting youth in their own world, online.
